What motor are you talkin bout? The LS-VTEC? Yea you might be able to do 350 WHP on stock sleeves. No it won't last forever.

It's really hard to say since no one really knows for sure. Some crack at 250whp and some are good till 500whp. To me it's all in the tuning. So tuned well at 350 whp in my opinion will be fine.

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

Well do what you can to support them then. Block Gaurd, Posting, and great tunning. I think you could hit 350. You will obviously using all the other stuff to help that engine. IC, sprayer, bring in air from oujtside engine bay.

No prayer as a daily driver...sorry.

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

i think the sleeves will be fine for a while with some good tuning, maybe get a GOOD block guard welded in and a girdle, it should be fine with some good tuning.

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

I strongly suggest you build the block, esp for daily rapings

Said he wants a daily driver he can rape the ---- out of... Who knows how long it will last but definately not forever.

Semnos 10-13-2004 07:34 PM

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

even a build block won't last forever if you rape the ---- out of it.
stock sleeves will hold if you tune it well...look out for detonation.

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

on a built block the problem is rings.... they become the weak part and will blow often at high amounts of boost

not sure what this has to do with my post...

300whp is not an easy task from what i hear. i assume your running 450cc injectors? they are maxed before 300whp. that turbo? probly maxed at 10-12psi. sleeves hold? sure...but for how long is a good question.... so no, sorry...

Re:stock sleeves......blah blah

300 is hard. my motor was hummin at 251 its got more in it but 300 would be the limit i think.

^^^^ no doubt dustin, the engine will be able to hold 300 whp as a dail driver for a while with some good tuning, as long as you have the turbo and injectors to support it, you'll be fine!

not a chance, you need a bigger turdbo, bigger injectors, some better fuel managment with a 3 bar map sensor would help a lot too ;)

I dunno man... I think your car should have been an easy 300whp especially with that t3/t4.
