stock pressuer sensor and aftermarket
Ok.. i tapped into the wire from the stock oil pressure sender in the back of the block with an electrical gauge... I am reading ZERO lbs of pressure. Does this work
? Also.. i just rebuilt my z6 and im worried im not getting oil pressure... IF i wasnt getting oil pressure.. would the sender set off the oil light in the guage cluster... or am i buring up my engine cause i got no oil pressure. I did buy the sender and gauge from summit racing... but the threads are wrong so i ordered that adaptor that the cartoys or cartuners sell... did i do i wrong with that sensor or what

i have only drivent he car for 2.6 miles... it got hot... but that was because of water and no coolant .. lol i was out and wanted to drive it... How many miles do you think you could drive a car before it siezed up because of no oil... Help please
You're using the stock oil pressure sensor with an aftermarket gauge? I don't think that will work.
The oil light in the dash will come on, but only when it gets VERY low. By the time that light comes on you are fucked.
