stock map sensor on d16z6

I was wondering if anybody for sure know's what the stock map sensor will read on a d16z6 I heard 12psi is that correct cause my afc says about 10.5 and never goes past that and my boost guage as well as ecu control program say like 12 psi?

I'm pretty sure its 11.6psi at sea level.

1.75 bar - Stoich (1bar) = .75 bar of boost, so take .75 and multiply by 14.7 and that should be it.

So 11.025psi at sea level

in ny at 2000 ft above sea level here we found it to be .72 or 10.582psi thanks for the info

always wondered about that, i made somewhere in the high 13 psi range when ------- with the boost controller (an air compressor regulator) and it ran fine? i guess the map sensor wasnt reading almost 14 psi? weird

it will function at a higher psi but will only send the signal for like 11 psi or so....im drunk so this will not be exact

You can boost higher on a stock map sensor. Some guy on here did Daily 15psi on the honda 1.8bar map sensor. The only thing is h=the ECU is guessing after this point, and when something starts guessing it runs the ricks of guessing wrong!

once you max out the map sensor, the ecu is just gonna read whatever fuel/timing values are in the highest boost column. So basically if you're at 15psi, its gonna read whatever fuel/ignition values are set in the 11.3psi column.
