Stock engine, home made turbo :)
Hi all, thats my first post and I have questions
I have 96 mk3 golf gti 16V 2.0 150hp (ABF ENGINE). I am thinking of turboing my abf with stock CR and internals :) Orj CR must be about 10.5 or something.. I ordered Apexi Safc2, I am thinking of 0.4 0.5 bars, will it be healty? Will the stock injectors be enough? What will be the ignition timing? And other suggestions |
Re:Stock engine, home made turbo :)
Maybe try and find some bigger injectors and scale the fuel with the SAFC, maybe VR6 injectors?
6-8psi should be fine, just make sure you have enough fuel gettin in there, and no detanation. Another option is to use a rising rate regulator(FMU) but i would only reccomend usin this for 5-6psi, this increases the fuel input according to how much boost it sees. |
