Stock DSM BOV tube too small?

I have a DSM BOV still on the pipe and I was planning on just coupling the whole pipe into my system. It is small diameter,1 3/4". If the rest of my charge piping is 2" or 2.25" will the DSM pipe totally negate the effect of the larger pipes and have the same results of the entire piping being 1 3/4"?

hack off the flange and weld it on your piping

Seems like a good idea. Guess I was just looking for the easy way out but if it will make a noticeable difference I'll get it done.

If you don't plan on running much boost just take the easy way out. I doubt at 7psi or so its gonna make a diffrence.

im in the same boat. just cut the flange off the pipe and buy a small(maybe 1"-2" tall peice of round pipe that is the same size as the opening in the flange) and weld that to the flange then to your charge pipes. easier to do that than weld the flange right to the new pipes
