still smokes
 
my car still smokes after buying oil restrictor from atp turbo and useing -3line to feed the turbo and -8 for the return line and the line goes in to the pan all the way at the top as close to the passenger side of the car and the turbo is new i have started the car a few time with it on to see if it quit smoking so i will try the turbo to see if it needds rebuilt hope fully it the problem or does any boby have any idea what it could be help please

check your charge pipes for oil. if so your turbos fucked. if not then theres something else wrong that i cant think of right now

I wouldn't use anything smaller than a -10 for a drain.

If the turbo is new, like you say, I doubt that is the problem, but I guess you never know. I would look more into the motor, fuel management.

What color of smoke and when does it smoke?

the smoke is oil smoke white and it does it all the time the ports on the head are dry and the car never smoked with the other turbo so i dont think it is the motor there is no oil in the charge pipes

this guy at my shop just bought a vf34 turbo for his wrx, brand new and it started blowing smoke, then he bought a green, brand new and it started blowing, possible the turbo is bad? who knows..

White would normally be coolant. Head gasket? Compression test? Bubbles in the radiator? Water in the oil?
