I'm not sure where you read that, but it's false. I have the 14b kit, the 17c kit, and the new 26z kit if anyone wants them. 8)

Whilst we're on the subject..

I just got my T3 Stealthmode kit delivered, and it seems to be missing a nut to secure the oil return fitting to the sump. I'm going to get one from a local hardware store, but can someone let me know if all kits don't have one, or was I just unlucky?

Thanks,

Re:stealthmode oil line kit

If you are talking about the drain flange bolts on the 14b kit, than you are correct.
Craig found 3 variations on the thread size for the drain flnage bolts of 14b's, so instead of sending out the one size we stock (that fit all t3's and t25's) the decision was made to not include them at all. It's all in the fine print, but that's the story about it.

It basically comes down to less "where's the bolts" emails than "hey, these bolts don't fit right". -Steve

I think he's talking about the fitting that goes into the oil pan?

You're a ------- crazy ass if you really want to put a nut on the inside of your oil pan. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing there was a nut on the end of my drain fitting.

I always drill the hole just barely big enough for the fitting to screw into the pan. Before it's all the way tight I apply JB weld and then finish tightening it. Then I apply another layer of JB weld all around the fitting. The only thing on the inside of the pan is the end of the fitting with no JB weld and no nut.

^ why if you tighten the nut enough it won't come off.

Yeah, bolts never come untightened, especially brass nuts inside a motor spinning 7000rpm. :P That's unheard of. :P

Actually thats my big complaint about the Stealthcunt oil line kit. When I got it I was suprised that there was no nut to weld to the oil pan so I ended up not using his return line.

Lisa Turtle didn't like the kit either.

??? I like the turbo drain fitting, feed line and block fitting just not the 10an return and the way to attach it to the oil pan.

Maybe you should offer them in a "baller oil line" package you bastard ;)

Re:stealthmode oil line kit

I already did. The people said they don't want to pay for them, they are harder to put together, and they aren't neccessary.

I only give the people what they want. ;)

Oh lord, where's a moderator when you need one? ::)

another guy i know did the same thing, i believe his is still together, though he cant keep a motor together long enough so i dunno lol

Re:stealthmode oil line kit

If you mix the jb weld good and apply it so it isn't thin anywhere, I can't see why you'd have a problem.

Put my car on the lift today and saw the jbweld on my pan had cracked, WTF! Tossed some quick-dry JB on there, problem solved. Another quart of oil saved by jb. 8)
