Default Started my car today...need help

Today was the first day i tried turning on my car after everything was installed. Well at first it wouldn't start. I had my 450cc injectors leaned out to -47% (tried to copy other similar setups) and it wouldn't start. So then i decided to turn up the fuel a bit and lean it out only -25%.

It started. I left it on for a good 30 then i decided to shut it off. My boost/vaccum gauge read 20 psi on the VAC side. I dont know if thats normal. Then i got out and went and looked under the engine bay and noticed some white smoke coming out either the manifold or the turbo.

I am running juss a partial downpipe that still sits in the engine bay (doesn't even go past my oil pan) , no exhaust.

I had to take out the rad and antifreeze to install all my stuff. I put the rad back and filled the antifreeze up, but the rad hoses don't seemed to be filled up.

Also, some coolant might have entered into the engine through the oil filter opening. This happened while i was trying to take the oil sensor off the back of the block and there was a rad hose in my way. I took the rad hose off and all the fluid from it started to pour down.

Now after reading some posts on various sites, it could be one of a several things.

#1 Coolant in the combustion chamber
#2 Compression seals are gone
#3 Seals in the turbo are gone

Which one could it be most likely or could it be that not enough oil or coolant is getting to the turbo cuz i didn't leave it on long enough for the lines to prime?

Any help is greatly appreciated

hmmm white smoke...uhmmm coolant in the combustion chamber...maybe a leaky gasket
Try starting it again..put the AFC settings back to -40% or so and see what ti does.

Maybe you just got some coolant or oil on the manifold or turbo and its burning off. Try again and let it sit for a few mins and see what happens.

After I drained my coolant when I was installing my new head when I was trying to put it back in I spilled it everywhere, I thought my exhaust manifold was smoking but the coolant burned off after about 45 minutes and it stopped smoking, maybe thats it. Does it smell sweet like coolant?

Well juss found out yesterday that it was oil burning off of the turbo. I have a oil leak. Wasn't leaking enough to be noticeable until i drove it.

Well, i guess thats what u get with Home Depot fittings. Not gonna go cheap on the fitting and get a custom one made.

"Do it right the first time, and you won't be kicking yourself after". <---- should've taken that advice.

My Lowe's fittings and Lowe's oil return have been working great for a good 100 miles or so now. Did you use teflon tape by any chance?

You should bleed the cooling system before starting the car, somtimes you can get air pockets. so when your filling the radiator, theres a little nipple (12mm)where the top rad hose enters the cyl head.right in front or around by the dizzy. open that up, and start pouring the coolant in. when you see a solid stream of coolant coming out of the nipple, close it. then start it, make sure you dont have any leaks, and its warm. shut off the engine, open the rad cap, then open the nipple again and check for air. if none then close it and your done, top off the radiator, and fill the coolant overflow about 1/3,or a little above the low mark.

^^ yup i bled the coolant lines like that. The coolant seems to be running fine cuz i disconnected the coolant feed/return lines to make sure there was coolant and there was.

As for the fittings...yes i did use teflon tape. The high temp. yellow kind but it still leaked.
