Default Stainless return line

Quick ?

What stainless return lines are best? I see some that have threaded fittings on the ends.

Then I see some that have no threaded fittings and just slide over a ridged (almost like the ting you use to fix a busted water hose?) tapered piece, w just a clamp on it.

Which is better?

I would think the threaded kind at first, but then Im like fawk, that ---- can leak where the threaded part connects to the stainless hose!

Currently I have a stock greddy kit rubber GANGSTER *** return line on my ----, and it pours oil out to the point where i smell it on my ------- turbo.

Comments on which is better?

The barbed fittings are fine as long as you use the correct size tubing with the fitting and clamp it with a hose clamp. The ones with the threaded ends already on them should be great as long as they were made properly. Either one should be sufficient. Barbed fittings should be a little cheaper and don't look as cool. There really shouldn't be that much pressure on the return line.

Advanced auto mr gasket braided barbed return ftw. $19.99.

A pimped out -10an setup would work fine too. Depends on how much you want to spend.

Cheap fix for barbed fittings leaking=black rtv and round ring clamps. Not to be confused with clip clamps, t-bolts or worms.....

I think I am going Fast Turbo lines, he said for black and silver ones its 70 shipped, and that comes w the part that welds to my oil pan (currently JB welded....funny thing? Its NOT leaking from there lol, but from where the rubber hose has eaten ---- on the turbo!) and the line/ end fittings....

I just want something that is NOT going to leak at all ugh.

Ive had really good luck with just 3/8" push-lok hose. Doesnt even need clamps, I put em on anyway though. Ive used it on my last 3 turbo car builds. Never had a problem. Never had a leak. ***** cheap as hell too. Asheville hose FTW!

Have you used them personally and do they leak? I have a similar connection at the oil pan and at the turbo with my current lines (not like a push and lock style, just pull over and clamp), and am concerned with the leaking issue. Have you had success with the lines being leak free?

Stealth, if you see this how much for a newishHMT **** shipped to 32222 sir?

His ---- works great, no leaks for 3 years now on my car.
I was thinking because he is a site sponsor perhaps there was a HMT hookup.

Also, if I sold Stainless lines on the net, I would search every forum i was a member of daily for new threads containing the word "Stainless" to promote my sales...imho that would be a smart move.

But, that is just me though!
