ssqv hates me
I've heard that the hks ssqv flutters under low boost and I'm running 8lbs..
recirculated or not, it flutters when blowing off. It has its own vacuum line and all that, but it isn't chirping.. just flutters I know there's the adjustment screw on the back and I haven't tried messing with it. should i try tightening it or loosening it? will I still get any chirp if its recirculated at 8 lbs?? flutter sounds like ---- |
Re: ssqv hates me
lossen it, if its like the greddy bov you needd to take one of the springs out.

Re: ssqv hates me
I would loosen it, It shouldnt matter if your running 5psi or 500 psi it should still open since its controlled by vac, not boost. Make sure you have it tapped into a good vac source.

Re: ssqv hates me
Make sure the diameter of the hose is large enough. i had the same thing happen. it wasnt the BOV that was fluttering, it was my turbo surging then i heard the BOV in delay. if you had a hard time fitting the hose over the barb on the BOV than its too small ;)
