SRT4 injectors rigged into a d/b/h Your thoughts.

Has anyone tried finangling Srt4 injectors into a honda b/d/h/f intake manifold? Searched found nothing. There seem to be quite a few srt tards swaping injectors around and ive found sets for $50-$100 and I think I could get em next to free. Read somewhere some flow like 580cc some more.......high imp I think?

From what i see the manifold side wouldnt be to difficult to make work, but the rail side may need the good old copper fuel rail fabrication ftw.

Input would be excellent if anyone has any ideas.

If the price is right why not.

Because they might not fit right, lol

If the stock honda manifold seals seem like they coul be slide onto the injector, and bored out/ground down, It might work. Definatly looks like you'll need a different fuel rail. What about the SRT one? maybe if you get correct fittings for it and the spacing is the same it could work.

I suspect the srt4 rail is far too wide, i havent measured it, but by sight it seems a failing effort to try to make any factory rail work. Plus I dont want to have to pay for anything like that.

I want to build another HMT copper fuel rail so i guess im gonna try this on my CRX D16a6+ITBs+16g is sounding pretty good right now.
Im too cheap to buy another 16g, so im gonna rob the one off my integra, and slap a 14b back on.

The manifold side isnt going to be a problem btw.

I guess ill do a write up on the rail when I build it. This could possibly prove an easy, cheap upgrade from dsm 450's.

srt4 fuel rails arent that expensive, prolly 50 bux or less, the 03 rails are kinda expensive because you can hook up a return line to them

Why not use some of the extruded fuel rail stock? Its too cheap to pass up, probably not much worse than a copper rail. $10 a foot isn't bad at all.

Hell yeah thats what im talking about. The copper rail i did before cost about $30 in materials and bout 2 hours to build properly.

I cant argue with $10 per foot. Thanks man.

They look like pencil style injectors aka K-series or motorcycle injectors. I know traditional injectors fit in place of the pencil style ones, it's what the turbo K-series run and I swapped Honduh 240cc onto a set of 954RR ITBs and was able to use the motorcycle fuel rail no problem.

Should be plug and play, and you can use the stock fuel rail. You'll have to shim the fuel rail, just like DSM 450cc.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I got the a6 out of the puff last night, but fucked up my knee in the process lol. Wes says he might know of a set of ITBs so we'll see how that pans out. :)
