Spoolin quick?

I am in the process of getting all my parts together to do this. I will be running a 89 saab 900 turbo, 9000 FMIC, DSM 450's(thanks Arpa),1st Gen BOV, HF manifold, and S-AFCII. Now I know you need the a/r to tell spool estimates but I need to know what size charge pipes to use and if that helps spool quicker and what size exhaust, and does that effect my spool? I only have 2" exhaust of my header now. If I use that in the mean time will it spool high in the R's? Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah its a 96 CX hatch with a Y8 intake mani.

2" piping should be fine for charge pipes. but for the exhaust, you might want to get bigger. 2" will work ok for now but trust me, i wouldnt use anything less than a 2.5" exhaust for a turbo. the bigger the exhaust, the quicker the turbo will spool cuz its breathing better.

2" piping is a great choice, for your set up, larger piping will give you more lag? If your not going to be running over 7, 8 psi i would touch your exhaust either, thats not a lot of boost for ur exhaust to restrict

but if he went with like a 3", trust me he would feel the turbo breathing way better and a little increase in power

my charge piping is 1.75" ID, I know it's small, but that was the size of my compressor outlet and my bov outlets so it was just convenient. 3" dp though. It spools incredibly quick.
