spool characteristics on d16z6

i feel like im gonna get flamed(and i probably will) considering the noob/annoyance of these types of questions but anyways..

motor: stock d16z6
manifold: cast
exhaust piping: 2.5"
looking for 220-250 with low psi(10 or lower)
street car so looking for a decent spooling turbo.

what i wanna know is what will the spool up characteristics of a t3/t4 with a 63a/r hotside and either a 50 trim or 57 trim will have on my d16z6. i'm planning to buy a cdm turbo btw. if you are using one of those turbos on a d16z6, please state when you start building boost.
EDIT: also post your set boost levels and @ what rpms you reach it at.

I was also gonna ask when your turbo dies off but from the research i've done on these two specific sized turbos, they keep pulling till redline

Im looking to see if there is a huge difference in spool times between the two turbos.
EDIT: im sitting here thinking..does the compressor side of the turbo even effect how fast a turbo spools at all or is it based mainly on the turbine side...im retarded..

Those t3/t4 starts pulls at 3500rpm average... and FYI, the hotside and turbine wheels makes turbos to spools faster or slower

yea i was sitting thinkin that too..3am post and being blasted does that..

3500isnt too bad i guess. i had that same turbo on my b18a and it spooled @ about 2700 and full boost at around 3500(10psi).im sure if i port the exhaust housing a bit and do some head work that turbo will spool faster..

so i might as well get the 57trim..

thanks hard2obtain.

this is an off-topic post in my own thread but w/e...

i got this eg hatch cx trim but they swapped the z6 in it but it has the dx tranny(i know its a dx tranny cause i had an eg hatch si trim before and the gears were A LOT shorter)..

having boost with the longer gears=better right? i know its better but i need a more definitive answer to reassure me from swapping in a z6 tranny. something about shorter gears..not being in gear long enough to build boost well...yadda yadda yadda..any input?
