Im running my B16 on 5psi.... and got some colder plugs
BKR7E-11 the stock gap is 0.44 I hear that i should gap them to 0.28 ....

Does that sound right...? I thought 0.32 would be fine

You shouldn't need colder plugs on 5 pounds.

i think 7e11's are two step colder plugs, and you prolly dont need to them i'd get 6e11s and have them around 32 then when you up it too 10psi then i'd put the 7e11's back in gapped down to 32 also

what happens if they're too cold?

The car ran fine today....im going to pull the plugs to check them.See what they're all about.

My car still stutters, so i pulled my fuel filter and a bunch of nasty brown ---- came out...and it looks rusty inside. So i take it thats the prob...

There is an optimum temp for the plug to be in (turbo or no turbo) - not too hot and not too cold.. This temp helps keep things clean and prevents fouling. If you go too cold then they can foul and not work as good.. With a turbo I'd say one step colder isnt going to hurt anything at all but it is a precautionary measure. Running a super hot plug probably isnt the best idea if you want to prevent detonation. For example if you made a SUPER HOT spark plug (one that goes way beyond those on the market) it might act more like a diesel glow plug than a spark plug and you'd ping like a ----------er. Make sense?
