Someone suggested t04E for my 2.7litre?

I got into a debate about the choice that I have made for my 2.7 4 cyl (4x4 taco) i have chosen to go with a .50 compressor and .63 turbine - he swears up and down that this turbo is 'way to small for such a large displacement' and that he would go with a t04E, blah blah blah. he was quite insulting with the way he spoke to me to the point of calling me an idiot, etc.

Ive explained i dont want/need a full drag racing vehicle and that my goals are no more than 250rwhp (at around 10psi or so). I need something that will spool somewhat quick but not run out of steam up top.

Am I right when I tell him that he is wrong?

Have you checked the compressor map vs what your engine output is? That's the real way to know if it's going to be good for that app or not.

Considering that people run .60/.63's on 1.8 liter engines and your turbo is a bit smaller than that on an engine with close to an extra liter of displacement, I'd say it's pretty small unless you just want a quick spooling low boost setup.

I don't think he's talking about AR .50 of a T3 compressor, but of a T04B maybe
