as the amount of the exhaust produced by the engine increase. it takes a bigger hole for the exhaust to be released to controll boost level, if the hoe is too small, it could creep before boost level can be maintained.

AFAIK>? :P

35/38mm gates need to be upgraded around 400whp and upgraded to something larger around 40mm+. Also wastegate placement on the manifold is very important, if sitting on one individual runner you will experience boost creep at higher boost levels. So be sure to put it on the merge collector or exhaust housing itself. Tial and Deltagates are just different brands, I personally perfer Tial gates just because they are better designed and nicer looking. The one cool thing about delta gates is that some of them are adjustable from 5psi ~ 12psi. But if you want to go higher you would need to use a standard manual boost controller.

Since the wastegate controls the maximum boost pressure, you don't want to be stingy here. Go with a TIAL and you won't regret it. Deltagates have been known to be unreliable.

this might be a stupid question. but if i'm going to be running a 7psi spring in a tial wastegate, and don't really want to go any higher, is a boostcontroller necessary?
if you don't use a boostcont. where would you connect the vacuum lines on the waste gate? side port to vac. source? and leave top port open?? just wondering. thanks in advance.

Using a 38mm WG on a 35mm should be fine right???
