can someone please take a picture of the oil inlet fitting on a 14b turbo.....i keep on seeing different pics and its confusing me... and when i called the dealership to get it they told me something that didnt look like what was in the pictures that i saw... so if someone can show me or tell me exactly what i need it would be apriciated.,.,, Picture prefered

It's kind of hard to see, but it's just a regular hole 7/16" hole with two 1/8" holes outside of it on the top of the compressor housing. Sort of looks like this if you're looking at it from the top..

I just have a fitting in the top of mine. (It's gold, right in the middle..

ok guys please help.... I ran my oil fittings with copper piping thinking it would be better... but the fitting i used didnt work... and i splurged oil all over tha place.... i am gonna have to redue the whole oil in system.... u say the oil in is a 7/16 th hole correct.... well can u tell me exactly what i need to get that to a 1/8 in the back of the block.... i heard it was an -an fitting.... i am just gonna go steel braided line.... so can someone tell me the exact connectors that i need? i wanna order everything out of summit cause i think they have everything i need....... i was thinking using this......

Oh yeah and this fitting that goes in the turbo has to be tiiiiight snug ya know cause the last one that i used didnt work not sure what size it was but it didnt work lets just say that... and i need to know that this will work cause my car is undrivable right now and i need to have it for work ...... THanks

That oil inlet may be what you describe, some that have 2 outside bolt holes can use a flange and some that have the 2 bolt holes may have the center hole threaded to 1/8th NPT. So if yours is threaded you can use a An4 flare to 1/8th NPT. Let me fill you in on the oil sensor threads and where to get the proper fitting. If you have a autozone near you go to the guage shelf and find a guage adaptor kit. If will have maybe 5 brass fittings in the pack. Only one in the pack will fit like a pipe thread. The other one will bottom out so that's not the right one. From that fitting use a 1/8th NPT nipple and then to your TEE. Screw a AN4 flare in that TEE for your AN4 hose fitting. Now I really suggest running a vac line or something of that size to measure the proper length of the hose to be made and go to Napa and have them make you a AN4 hose and fittings to your measurements. hey that fitting you have now is a inverted flare fitting which is OK but I'm not sure what the threads are on your turbo. A garrett is 1/8th NPT, I'm not sure what yours is. That fitting kit may have the proper fitting in it to convert your threads over to NPT.

actually thats not what i needed... for everyones information this is what you nee.
7/16 NPT to -4an fitting.... -4an steelbraided hose... four feet.... then a -4an fitting to 1/8 NPT.. this is the oil inlet of a 14b turbo TDO5

Hehe, I don't need any of that.. all of my stuff works great with not one leak. ;D

But, this is what I used..

The "almost" 7/16" gauge fitting that came int he AutoZone Sunpro Gauge kit (Can't remember with one)..

Then NPT to -4AN adapter from Aeroquip (O'Reilly's) then -4AN swivel endcaps.. Aeroquip (O'Reilly's) for stainless steel braided line.. yada yada tada.. typical.. works great.
