hey that sounds pretty logical! your pushing th whole unit so it leaves the wastgate open a bit to inturn lower boost.... ! sounds way ------- better than the spring method some people do. :-X and yeah, the manualboostcontroller will only raise boost

Here is what I did for someone- cut the wastegate arm and ran a die down the cut parts to make it adjustable with a wrench. I actually used a rh thread and a lh thread and TIG welded 2 nuts together for the adjustment. This makes it really easy to adjust but you could just pop the actuator off whenever you wanted to adjust them.
