It should be bac k from the body shop in about a month. I donated the work to Detroit Lakes tech school and will be getting a complete dent pull/repaint for 400 bucks.
Anyways I plan on boosting it as its rides on rails but moves slower than my old dx hatch before the swap...
Anyone had any experience doing a home built turbo set up on the b6 motor? My buddy who is a rotory nut wants to put a 13b in it, but according to the guys on miata.net, these motors are boost -----s. Full Race makes a shitty lazer cut head flange, and I could get a manifold pretty easily, the only thing im concerned about is Fuel management. The Bell Engineering turbo kit is like 3k and it makes like 60 wph gain. I want a solid 200 wheel horsepower on 91... any advice other than "buy a new car that isn't homosexual" would be great.

I plan on doing a flat black tt style roll bar for looks, and some 15" Rota Track R's.
A hard top someday hopefully. I have been searching a old school rod millen lip kit like this.

I have a buddy selling a small Turbonetics ballbearing t3 off his civic. He made 244 hp on 15 pounds (maxed out fuel on 450's w/o a FPR) I will be either picking this up, or a stock SR T25, or a something of similar size.

there are several stock harness stand-alones available for miatas, megasquirt, hydranemesis and some other ----. The motor will hold 200 easy but be careful with the tranny mazda g-series will completely implode if you shift hard with any sort of power, also look into rerouting the coolant hoses as only the front half of the head gets any coolant flow the back just bakes there's a heater hose that most people use. flyinmiata is your best friend

my escort gt's have mazda 1.8 dohc bp motors in them and have 2 of them boosted, the bp's love boost and take it well, the b6 dohc is just a smaller 1.8 so it should take it well. also the old 323 gtx's and 323 gt's had 1.6 dohc tubo motors stock.

They're going to do a piece of ---- body work paint job on that miata at that tech school. Good luck with that, and boost the stock motor, don't go 13b.

Shut the ---- up ******.

The older Miata gearboxes will eat themselves at around 180whp so you might want to look into one from a newer wrecked car.

Maybe get the whole longblock and build it if you have the money.
