well is it s d16z6 or d16y8 or mini me?

How are you acitvating VTEC right now?

do you have correct fuel and timing for VTEC al;ready?

is it OBD1 obd2 or obd 0 ??

its a minime setup and i have it with a rpm activator switch

how much boost can you run on a minime? I know they have high CR #s, but would you be cool running 5 psi?

thats the thing u think i should just buy a shoc vtec motor . so the compression wont be so high.

and 5psi is not goodenough i want to run 12s

I was asking the question for myself. Can you run 5 psi on a minime and be safe?

5 psi should be fine, you could even run this much on a Type-R compression (I mean hell the JR superchargers do this and they're guranteed)

dont run 5psi if your using obd ) wiring.

Wire for 0BD 1 ussing the SOHC VTEC ECU for it to activate VTEC and you gain the ignition and fuel maps to not run lean in VTEC.

Then run your 5psi

running an rpm activated switch will be good for about 3psi i wouldnt go more.

ive got a 92 lx, and am going to start building a turbo for it, and eventually getting a z6 engine. I was just toying with the idea of minime turbo instead of a z6. Yeah, I would get the z6 ecu. So 5 psi would be cool. How much power do you think a minime with a t-3 would put down with 5 psi intercooled?

Not sure but my firends 1.6 Mini Me CRX ran a 15.1 running 0Bd1 ECU with VTEC engagin by the ECU properly.

This is with Typical I/H/E etc

So im thinking maybe get into 13's and run around 180 HP ish.
