93 civ hatch cx.
1.6 vtec motor,full t3 setup,deltagate wastegate,dsm injectors,vtec unplugged,map sensor unplugged,chrome tuned and ran fine in my boys car with same setup. Only difference is no 255 fuel pump and map sensor is not hooked up.

The car will run but has horrible miss. Any help appreciated.
We dont see a plug for the map, is there a chance i need a ex harness?

 

There is no way this setup ran in your "boy's" car with an unplugged map sensor. Honda's are a speed density system, they require that manifold pressure input to correlate the proper fuel/timing table.
All honda's have a map sensor, so that in turn means your cx has one as well.

 

hmm, i remeber that one time i forgot to plug in my maf sensor, the car started and idle perfrectly.

 

so even a cx harness has a map sensor? we cant find it?

 

MAF is different than a MAP.

 

Yes. CX's have throttle body mounted map sensors, so the wire and plug for it will be in the same harness piece that has the plug for the tps sensor.
