Default Sohc ex Turbo

Hey peoples, i was wonderign what i need to run a turbo setup on my car. i have a 96 civic sohc ex. I know i need like all the big ---- (intake manifol, turbo, piping, injectoers......) al lthat but what about electronics and liek gaskets/bolts and stuff?

Just keep reading the forums/FAQ and check out all the turbo/tech projects. You should be able to figure out most of it on your own. If you still have specific questions go ahead and ask them here.

Yeah, that's a pretty broad question. By electonics do you mean fuel management? It sounds like you need to do some reading.

No i know everything about all that, ur taking me for an idiot. i just need to know abotu bolts, flanges and gaskets such things like that.

There is no way in hell we could tell you what bolts and gaskets you are going to need. If we were standing right there looking at a pile of parts maybe. Every application is different.

i gotta 98 sohc ex. setup not on yet but i think i am ready to throw ot on: mitsu t-25, 1g dsm bov,hf manifold, adapter plate, new exhaust manifold gasket, new hf converter gasket, dsm o2 housing gasket, new oil pan gasket, 1g 450cc injectors w/ 10watt 10ohm resistors from radio shack, 4 an steel braided line, 1/8 npt tee, 1/8bspt to 1/8 npt adapter, 4-an hose fittings, 10-an bulkhead connector for oil return line, vacuum lines, coolant lines(depending on turbo), and 88 toyota supra front mount intercooler.
when you get that far and you don't know what to do then ask more questions!!!

96 sohc ec-every setup is different-i don't want to sound mean but do what i did-
take turbo, oil sending unit, etc
go to hardware store, and test fit all screw, nuts and bolts, and after the fifth time there, you will be a master at it-
you know, going to the hardware store consumes the most time-plan ahead, as Jeff said

hardware store ain't got ----.... you need to go to auto parts stores or mcmaster.com or some specialty place even if you have to order ----. i have been peicing my kit together for almost 1 year.

true value hardware has all my needs, they have a nut or bolt display which you just plug in bolt or nut and bam, you get the size, length, and strength you want
