hey guys, been a while since ive been on here

changed my setup alot, first manifolds i made my self, soon brough some higherflowing front mount ones and modified them for external gate and a Vband

anyway, i added 570cc injectors, 600hp fuel pump and played round with a few other things, anyway i was boosting along last week, then parked the car, started it up to go to a mates house, pulling out noticed a patch of oil in the driveway, remembering id made a mess changing the oil fittings earlier that week i ignored it, boosted to my mates and all round then parked it at his house, went to start it up to go home and it started making a real bad and weird noise, limped it home and it still came on boost ok but i left a patch of oil at his house, on later insepction the patch of oil at home was fresh, annnd found oil sperting out of my rear main engine seal,

to my horror i found the rear main seal was no longer inside the engine, i knew it was on the way out but damn... soo the engines prepped to come out tommorrow to look a little harder, this things been a pain but ill get there

might drop a new short block in it but then i have to change headgaskets and i have some race series ones in there atm ($120 a set) plus my current engine has new valve springs, valves, stem seals etc

just incase you've forgotten my car here it is again, 1989 Holden Calais V6 (Buick LN3 block, 3800cc)

Older 3800 parts are a dime a dozen here for us yanks. I am sure a rear main seal could be easily had. At least you did'nt melt a piston.....

lol, its a modified opel (i think omega?)

and they released it here, yeah the buick engines are a dime a dozen but they've all done lots of K's (ie miles for you yanks)

i reckon i was close to throwing a rod tho

yea, my mom had a van once that blew the rear seal, it started knocking pretty quick after.

it was all cause of a stuck PCV valve
