hello fellow HMT peps.. so after looking over my options and what my goals are i decided to put my free motor to good use.... to catch up on how i got it for free look herehttps://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...6386#msg986386....

this is whats up i got a mild lsvtec all motor setup quick specs... 83mm GE sleeved...going to bore to 84mm...the motor was a "loose" setup.... its not a TRUE lsvtec it has gsr rod lenght eagle rods. and type r crank......so on that note.. i would think staying LSVTEC would be a better idea.. IMO. the head is basic b16 mild port match...crower stage 3 cams, dual retainers TI retainers....i will be using ITR cam for my boost.

should i go ls head on the motor... or stay VTEC. due to the fact of my misc. crap collection i got some chooses.

the turbo setup is the basic sc61 60a/r.. t3.....880 injectors...3inch DP and 3 in exhaust.....blah...well i know that ----...

what should i do for fuel...i need a new gas tank should i just go fuel cell????
what fuel pump? 255?? or bigger?
are my 880 injectors big enough..??
thinking about going crome pro package from Xenocron...

with a good tune as the common variables ...at what PSI will i see 200..300....400 and 500whp. a guy just made 506 whp @ 21 psi on c16... so that kinda being a best case scenario....i want to know hp at boost levels so i can have a good all around car to drive...400 hp civic is nott he best for the occasional back road sprint...lol..

well flame if u want i just would like some educated options in my build....ill post build thread as soon as i get going...lata

3 pounds 200, 11- 300, 18- 400, 25- 500 noone here can tell you exactly what psi will make what numbers. depending on how effecient your setup it. you can look for about 10 hp for 1 psi.. i have seen more and i have seen less, there are too many variables, but glad to see you goin to boost.

Any thing Xenocron sells is good stuff, he always trys to get the best stuff he can. Fuel cell is not needed. 880's should be fine. Na cams and boost don't like each other. Psi means nothing when related hp, only rice boys talk like that. To many factors to take into account; you want 500hp, ok sure with a ton of boost you should get there. BTW what are you doing with the crower cams?

the crower cams are up forsale soon.....i got a whole B16 head with valvetrain that i might sell it for cash and a b16 head

forged rods and pistons? go for 20psi.

get your head/intake ported by chris, and throw on one of his gangster throttle bodies to match.

run a log or mini ram, ---- full lenght, this is not a motor with massive displacement.

run a holset.. youll love yourself for it. holset + b-series = turn ya out

hx35 will make that motor rip panties in 2 gears at single digit boost.

just imagine dropping 20psi :y

Especially since the HX35 makes power even more efficiently in the 20+ psi range

it doesnt just go up and over like most graphs, holsets are probably the nicest oversized turbo that anyone could ever run. until they start cranking boost, then they really ------- rip.

its like looking at a supra dyno graph with a semi t6 flanged 70lb cast iron turbo. at lower boost its still okay, but it goes up more and more with every pound increase. start the midpoint of the parabellum as the low end of boost, rising up with boost increase. duh

Just to add my $.02

VTEC head + set in crome to run VTEC all the time (100-200rpm) = more cfm. Period.

Coupled with an adj cam gear to phase out that overlap from the HYPE R cam setup. I don't remember how many degrees it was, you should be able to look that up.
