Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
using 20/50 castol only smokes when it is warmed up and after boosting, usually i just let off the gas when this happens and it somewhat goes away ,,, i am thinking to much oil pressure on that line the smaller the line the more pressure it should have right

Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
so what if there is too much pressure on the turbo feed line? The turbo really doesn't need that much oil to drink. Run a compression check to rule out the motor.

Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
well itis possible the oil leak is coming from the exhaust side and it still needs to be tuned up a little, i guess seals maybe but i just rebuilt the turbo

Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
I still like the kinked return line approach, but we won't know for exact certain until the motor gets rules out of the way.

Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
try blowing through a big straw and a little straw then tell me which one has more pressure , its not the motor the motor was just rebuilt and the turbo too....

you guys are confusing the ---- out me ??? |
Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
once again, the feed pressure shouldn't have anything to do with it.. how do you think the added pressure of a step-down size tube will make your ---- smoke?
If you think that's the problem then step up to 3/16 line and see if it still smokes |
Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
if the feed is the problem, then you want to get a smaller feed line, not a bigger one, it doesn't have more pressure just b/c it's a smaller area, but it will flow more oil if it's bigger, therefore making the problem worse. get an oil pressure gauge and a bleeder valve to lower your pressure to the turbo.

Re:smoking oil or rich fuel????
i think the problem lies some place else but if everyone wants to concentrate on the line - go for it
