Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??
I had a Blown HG for about 2 months. Coolant NEVER went down. I leak just enough to make it smoke the odd time and overheat every once in a blue moon.
Replaced the HG, No more problems. |
Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??

Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??
OK SO I STILL DONT KNOW IF ITS MY TURBO OR HG ? LOL, WHICH ONE IS IT ? btw iam another turbo , i cant be fucked with rebuilting it , but iam still not sure if i should get a new HG ... wot do u guys think ? |

do both and get some ARP head studs and you’ll be set.

Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??
It sure sounds like turbo seals to me, I can't think of why a BHG would cause oil to leak all into your chargepiping, etc.

Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??
u should take a picture of the smoke ;D then we can help a little better

Re: smoking because of my resistor box ??
The reason we can't tell you what the problem is is because you don't know what color your smoke is. White is coolant!! If it's not white then it's not coolant, simple.
