Small Ball Bearing Turbo?

Anyone know where to find small ball bearing turbos, or what vehicles they came on? :1

I'm interested in a Ihi rhb31, but it is only a journal turbo, and do to my oiling system I need a ball bearing.....

Any suggestions?

No, you do not "need" a ball bearing turbo. ::)

Well I've had a couple turbos freeze up on me by now, I don't think I can get enough oil to them? The only ball ebaring turbo I've used has lived.....

They like about the same oil pressures. Starve one, starve them all.

I'm sorry for the noob questions here fellas, I'm still learning here, that's why I joined this forum to hopefully have some people point me in the right direction :-\

I've "heard" that the ball bearing turbos can live longer with less oil pressure than the journal turbos can.

This turbo is on an Atv, and I extended a banjo fitting to go to the turbo straight off the motor, I think it's only around 8 or 9 psi of oil? It's a dry sump.

With hours of riding, through the Rpm ranges of 2000-10000 do you guys think a journal turbo can live as long as a ball bearing?
