Slow Spooling

FIrst off I assume my BOV should be oipen at idle. right? due to vacuum? But seeing as it is open during vacuum and doesn't close just before boost could this account for slow spooling of turbo. Boost doesn't hit until 4400rpm on a ZC with a 14b. I'm using a light spring in my BOV, could put the stiffer one in help?

i have a 14b on my SOHC VTEC. I have a stage 2 comp cam 59300.

even with my wastegate not lining up properly, i hit 10psi by about 3500 rpm..

No, that won't help.

Yes, yr BOV is open in vaccum (at idle).
But, as soon as you press throttle, there is almost no vacuum in intake manifold (gauge should read near 0), and already at that point BOV is closed.

how do you like that cam along with boost? I have the same cam in my y8 with the comp cam valvesprings and will be boosting it hopefully by this weekend. So far i have heard nothing, but good things about this cam and turbo :).
