Sleeves
Ok, i have heard thats its a good idea to re sleeve the block when building the bottom end for boost. I have an F22 from an Accord with iron sleeves and i was wondering since i have a few miles on my car and i re build my motor, should i re sleeve the block with the bottom end being slighty more built. Im not going to run anything over 12psi and the onty reason i want to rebuild the motor is because its kinda old and beaten upon. I am taking a look at just pinning my block like it has been discussed here instead of the block guards.
Any help would be appreciated. |
Re:Sleeves

Re:Sleeves
so it is a good idea to sleeve the block.
I wanna re build the motor just not to huge power specs. I may just use OEM parts and have everything cleaned up, but even then would it be a good idea? |
Re:Sleeves
i boosted more then 20 psi on my stock f22 bottom end, and i finaly broke ring lands. those cylinder walls are strong.
no need to sleave them. |
