Default Silicone hose length cutting

I just bought a 3ft. length of 2.5" Silicone hose, and I need to cut it into pieces. What have you guys used to get a nice clean cut? I was thinking of using either a fine tooth hacksaw, or razor, or a cut-off saw.

I find it amusing that you are bothering to ask this on a web board . Honestly... just razor blade it or scissor it or something

No matter how careful you are, if you use any of those, it wont be a clean/staright cut. What I would do is to slip it on a pipe or something and rotate the pipe against a stationary box cutter or similar.

It is quite hard to nicely cut some so I dont think it is a dumb question to ask.The post above sounds like not a bad idea or use a big stationary cutter.

Sigh, if your hands are that unsturdy... there is a nice method.

Take a worm gear hoseclamp or tbolt clamp around it, snug it up (don't compress) and use it as a razor blade guide....

Like stated above use a hose clamp and a razor blade. It always works for me.
