Default silicon hose question....

I was curious if there is anywhere you can buy those silicon hoses for connecting charge pipes in long lengths? I see them on ebay all the time and they are fairly expensive but they have come down some.

I cant find any websites excluding a few that sell it by the foot. It would be beneficial to use it with some of the bends I have and not try to make a new clamp/hose every 6 inches with some of the bends haha.

Anyways any help/links etc would be nice

That stuff usually runs about $20.00 to $25.00 a foot. You can get it in three foot lengths but I dont know if it comes any longer than that. You can get other hose that is just as strong cheaper, but its not that pretty blue color. I will have all of this on my web site very soon. www.speedpartsrus.com or www.intercoolersrus.com

www.mcmaster.com
3 foot lengths of nitrile tubing, 2.5" diameter are about $27. cut off what you need and sell the rest.
part # 5285K37

they also have silicone hose, part # 5296K43, but for a 3 foot length, it's about $60.

both are on online catalog page 196

Thank you scarecrowX that was perfect.

I'm curious what the difference is between this stuff and silicon besides only holding 39 psi compared to 66.

Both protect against the same things...great find and thank you very much! They even have the clamps i want

glad i could help..

as far as the differences, i believe nitrile is slightly less tolerant of extremely high temps, but for connecting to the turbo outlet, you shoulnd't have any problems..
