silent blow off valve?? possible?

Any ideas on making my blow off valve silent, or close to it. I think it'd be fun to keep people guessing. Ive got my intercooler hidden, and my exhaust outlet is only 2 inch... It looks sleeper, but still sounds like turbo..

Setup:
Honda Civic hatch
DSM t25 turbo
1g dsm Blow off Valve
9lbs boost.

I was thinking running rubber hose from BOV into either a padded box ( cotton, poly-fill, etc) or running the hose thru the firewall, and into the car.

What do you guys think.

use a recirculating blow off valve from something like an audi or vw, they're almost silent in action. Plumb it into the turbo intake and your done.

why would you run a 2" tip?
plus if you want a silent bov run a bosch bypass valve I have 2 available

you can recirulate the DSM BOV. Thats what the big hole on the side of it is actually for lol.

does that work?

From what ive read:

Q: I have heard of a BOSCH or other bypass valves being vented to air, is this possible?

A: Yes, but not right away. If you vent the bypass valve to air, your car will stumble and

most likely turn off between shifts. The reason for this is that once all the pressure is

released the bypass valve will still be open and create a huge air leak which the AFM

does not like. If you put a one way check valve on the end of the output, this will only

allow the air to go out, but not in. Be sure to seal the other side of the intake where the

air would normally be vented. This makes for some interesting sound effects!

Ive heard that before, but does running it back to the intake really quiet things down? I would think all the noise/pressure would excape out the air filter

It does, if it is too close to the filter.

only cars that have mass airflow sensors (MAF) will stall if you vent the bypass valve in the atmosphere

Recirculate a DSM. It'll be quiet as ----. Hell when I recirculated a Type-S, i could hardly hear it at all.
