Re: siemens injectors ?

do you have to take them apart to clean them?

Re: siemens injectors ?

you can put power to them and they will open, then you can either spray them out with something or soak them in something.

i have some seimens 650's in my car and they were kind of a pain in the ass to get to fit, but worth it since i paid $50 for them and they only have like 5k miles on them.

i took the huge o-rings off and put some honda sized o-rings on. then i had to file the plastic down on the top some to fit in the rail. you will also have to take the studs out of your manifold and use longer studs or bolts with spacers cause they are longer than honda injectors

Alot of mustang people run siemes deka 60 lb injectors. They drop right in to replace the bosch style original ones. they are thin looking but have the normal plug
I will be running them on my 97 GT in about a week.

Siemens injectors are a great injector. I prefer them over Rochester (precision) and Lucas (RC) any day of the week.

No offense, but It never ceases to amaze me how cheap people are and how confident in themselves they are. How exactly are you going to test your results?

Down time due to a blown motor is also Time AND Money for not wanting to get cheap insurance of having them tested and cleaned. :8 Oh thats right, some people believe you can boil your injectors in water to clean them.. ahhaa

have them professionally cleaned and tested by a forum sponsor: http://injector-rehab.com/
