I would recommend it, are you can sit a few minutes with the engines running before you turn it off everytime you drive

Re:Should i use a turbo timer?

pointless if you ask me... even if you're running hard it doesn't take 2 minutes for the oil pump to push oil through the turbo, and even so the turbo isn't going to cool down to ambient temperatures that quickly if you are really ---- you should sit in the car for 15-20 minutes before ya stop idling lol... sorry I just think these timers are stupid.

Re:Should i use a turbo timer?

The timer is so the oil supply isn't cut while the turbo's still spinning at 50K or so. If you ever run open DP and *don't* let your car sit for a moment or two, you can hear the turbo whining after you're out of the car, walking around it. Not good.

Using your common sense and idling for a few seconds is really the smart man's option. But. The Greedy turbo timer plays music!!1!1 I've got it programmed to play the first few bars of the Imperial March when it starts up. That's worth at least 10 hp.

Re:Should i use a turbo timer?

lol!

well I just think they're stupid because cars like the Talon/Eclipses don't come with them factory... but their service / owners manual recommend letting the car idle for 1-2 minutes after heavy driving.

I don't like the idea of walking away from my car with it running, despite the fire I'll start by saying this, a running car with no one in it is more likely to be robbed. I don't care if they disable the e-brake and it stops it from running I don't want them in the car period ;)

Re:Should i use a turbo timer?

what i think is kinda same idea as Chacko...
also my house is on a deep slope ,i get use to park my car with it in gear...coz i`ve seen so many car rolled away and hit something becasue the hand brake fail and they left it in neutral... :o
if i drove it hard i could always drive around NORMALY for a min of two b4 i park it.. ;D
