Selecting what size turbo for your car

I read the sticky, stole the thread name and now I've got a question. I did some math, following the sticky and I believe I did it wrong.

I feel like I skipped something because my CFM at the end seems weird or I just don't know how to apply it. It's a 1.6L or 97 cubic inches I believe.

I'm trying to find a turbo that I can make 250 HP to the wheels using my B16A. Trying to find some options too. I have a T25 2G off an eclipse available. But I've heard that's too small due to the CFM not being enough to push that power even at 16 PSI, which is the turbos limit of efficiency. I also have a Greddy T517Z which is bigger and came off a greddy turbo kit for a newer civic.

I'm looking for turbos and it's hard to figure out which one will meet my power goals and give me the quickest spool. It is easy to make 250 whp, but I don't want a big laggy turbo.

Point me in the right direction if you can. Maybe I missed something. And this is my first post on this account, forgot my old log in.

ProJekTeg Post regarding Turbo sizing Issue with Calcs

I'm having issue with the calcs and I saw someone mention there was an error. When trying to calcuate Outlet Temperature you have formula. But i havent found where the correction is.

T2 = 535 (24.7 ÷ 14.7)0.283 which equals 620

I got 254.... Why is that?

Also further down in the calcs they use 656 instead of 620 for the Density Calc

(Inlet °R ÷ Outlet °R) × (Outlet Pressure ÷ Inlet Pressure) = Density Ratio = 1.37

How does 620 now be 656?
What is the proper way to calcuate T2 Outle Temperature in Rankine?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's what I was running into. But I'm open to some discussion just specific to my motor and a suggested turbo also. But until I can get the calcs in the sticky to work for me, I'm kind of lost in the sauce.
