seafoam and other additives

seafoam and other additives
I did a search, but the one post that had some info wasn’t complete.
We all know seafoam is great on a N/A car…but what about on boosted ones?
I don’t know if it will do well in the oil since the turbo needs that oil…and the turbo may not like the smoke from putting seafoam in the brake booster.
So, who still runs seafoam with a boosted car?
Also, anybody use engine flush at oil changes? Anybody use any type of additive with their boosted car?
Thanx

Re: seafoam and other additives
im trying to keep my engine as long as possible, so if seafoam and a few engine flushes every now and then will help, then I'm gonna do it. But I want to know if they really would help or hurt a boosted car. Somebody has to had some information...

Re: seafoam and other additives
I use it on all my cars love the stuff there is a noticable difference too, well atleast I noticed one...I used it on my 03 mazdaspeed which is factory turbo and a lot of people with my car were doing it so tried it, don't buy the cheap knock off stuff though get the Seaform brand stuff, I add it to my oil with every change, pour some in the PCV vac line and add some to the gas tank, its an all around great product....

Seafoam is on ok product. It is just kerosene and some abrasives.
I personally like it in the fuel tank as a drying agent. It is not gonna help by putting it in every oil change. If you are ---- about changing it you will not need to use the seafoam.

Its petroleum or whatever maybe same as kerosene but it help keep your engine clean thats why i add it with ever oil change and I do oil changes every 2500miles but its the little but extra that helps prolong engine like, it does more than just a drying agent wehn added to fuel it also helps to clean the entire fuel system and injectors, I don't know i guess i just really like the stuff and really care about my motors/cars?

i like it, works great through the brake booster, just add it slow so you don't hydrolock your engine like some nigs on here. You also shouldn't run it in your oil for very long because the cleaning agents thin out the oil and may prevent it from lubricating properly. I run it easy for about 100 miles and then change it but that's just me. Fuel system wise it's ok, but professional injection cleaning owns you
