Default schedule 10/40 round to oval?

So i got a flange on what is going to be my first turbo manifold. its nice 1/2" thick and pretty awesome. i got it ouw and whoah! the oval ports are huge, as in bigger than my 1.5" pipe. so how do i make the schedule 10/40 oval? if it were just 16g i would put it in my shop press and squeeze until its oval to match. can i do this with schedule 10/40? do i need to apply heat while squishing it from round to oval? also whats the best method? i have a good shop press, but i have heard a vice will do the job. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. P.S> pictures of schedule 10 or 40 pipes ovaled would be an awesome motivator, because right now i want to throw everything

How wide and tall are the ovals you're trying to match?

I need to get a direct measurement, been out of town for a week. They are only at max a 1/4 inch wider and they are about a half inch shorter. Logically it seems I can squish the pipe down and should almost be perfect. So hopefully when I pick up my shop press I can make them match so I can have a good strong weld. This is going to be a twin scroll manifold and regardless of using schedule 40 pipe I am going to brace it, I don't want cracks

I'd try the "squish the pipe" approach here too, as long as the pipe is made of steel. Not sure if cast iron would squish or crack.
