Re:samco silicone hoses

does anyone know the heat transfer for the silicone to the metal pipinf for the chargepipe... will the air stay cooler in the charge piping in the enginebay with silicone hoses compared to metal piping with ceramic coating? just a thought

thanks scarponze

Re:samco silicone hoses

thats not my gt turbo engine bay i only have 2 boost hoses from samco.. for the gt turbo the boost hoses are £110 the coolant hoses are £80 and the rest (14 hoses) are £367

metal is a natural heatsink, silicone isnt.. even when my engine has been running for a while the silicone stays cool to the touch
