safe boost for no intercooler
what would be a safe amount of boost to run on my ls motor with no intercooler? just for temporary of coarse. thanks i was thinking around 3-5 psi. oh and the turbo is a t3/t4. to4e

depends on the tune some say 7lbs some say 10lbs but keep in mind due to no intercooler i wouldnt try and tune it myself unless you are very confident in your ability because you will fight detonation badly due to heatsoak of all your engine components

thanks for the good answer. i dont feel safe tuning it myself but im just gonna wait till i have all the piping for the intercooler done. then have mikey tune it since he has tuned our towns fastest civic. 9.7 sec. man i love that car. thanks anyways guys

3-5psi would be max for me. but you know the boost bug bites and then you want to raise the boost levels. Just wait for the ic
