Alright here goes... What kind of turbos do saabs have. Any of the saabs. I know where i can get one but i do not know what model or anything it is. I believe that it is a 90-91 year model saab. And do the saabs have intercoolers and BOVs? If the do not have an intercooler then would it be ok if i did not use an intercooler? I am gonna get a SMIC when i can find one? Are there any other cars with SMIC other that the dsm's. I know thats alot of questions but any input would be greatly appreciated. THNX

My sister had an old POS saab. I dont know what kind of turbo it had but it was intercooled. As far as the BOV it has something simmilar. I believe its called a Bypass valve. Same idea except they dont make much noise and some of them most the time are located in the Stock air box cluster and if your planning on using a bypass valve they do not hole much over stock boost levels. And sometimes even leak at stock boost levels.

This BOV is ok up to about 10 lbs of boost. Beyond that, you'll start to get leaks. The 1st Gen DSM BOV is way better and you can find em for about $20-40. I paid $35 shipped for mine.

The TB0356 is 48 a/r with a 45 trim wheel.
The TB2531 and TB2529 are 49 a/r not sure what trim level they are.

Alright.Thanks again for the answers. Does yours hold boost until redline or does it fall flat on its face at like 6000 rpm or something?

I have a .42 trim off a saab and the intercooler with the metal ends on a z6 in my crx. It pulls mad but ive only taken it to6000rpms because im breaking in my engine. Down underestimate that t3.
