Default saab 900 turbo (.42/.48) 50 trim?

does anyone know the specs of a saab 900 turbo mid to late 80's? is it the same specs as the volvo's? does it have a 50 trim compressor or 40 trim? thanks.

Post a model number, it helps quite a bit.

The 88+ 900's had a Mitsubsihi 12a on them. It's tiny. Saab set-up their cars to have good low end torque at low boost levels, but all their turbos are tiny and run out of air at any significant rpm's. I'd go with the .42/.48 over any of them. You can max it out at a little over 20psi. I'm not claiming it's at max efficiency at those boost levels, but it can go that high. May as well just go with a 14b if you're in the $100 or less range. I have a few nice ones up for sale if you end up wanting to go with an MHI.

It's a 50 trim as long as it's a T3, no matter what the P/N is.

T25's, T3's and TD04's all featured on saab's and still do. Just make sure the car you remove it from is an HPT not an LPT.
