Saab 900

alright, im a new member, and im still still in high school, so my budget is tight. I, not my parents, bought a 98 Civic EX coupe, and im hoping to boost it. One of my teachers has a 84(or 85 he isnt too sure) Saab 900 turbo he uses for parts. We got talking and i offered him $50 for the turbo. Well i think he will take, only thing is, i dont know what kind of turbo it is. I figured if it fit in a saab it isnt too big for my civic. Anyway, im gonna get the turbo, oil lines, maybe some piping, bov if it has one, and what ever else i can find on it. If you could help me find out what kind of turbo it is, i will appriciate it.

That turbo will be just fine! its a Standard T3 turbo charger, and most of them are .42/.48 AR's. Pretty small T3 and would work just perfect on a D16 (in your civic) the hard part is going to be engine management since its a new car, (running OBD2) but their are ways around it. Just keep reading through the forum, and you will get things figured out.

Be sure to get all the crap off that saab if you are going to use it or not.

Saab turbo is good. Thumbs up, expecially for 50 bucks!
