Which Route to Go. Newb. 1990 civic.
HI,
I am fairly new to the turbo scene but have been reading up on what others have done. Here is my situation. Currently I own a 1990 honda civic dx in teh standard model which is only a 4 speed. With a budget I am wanting to replace the motor and do a small turbo setup. Engine replacements that I am thinking of. Honda motor thats either a ZC, JDM D15B, D16Z6/Y8 .... OR going with a b16 Turbo kit I am thinking of going would be... Using the HF manifold from my current motor with adapter plate for the turbo TD04 (wrx turbo), a 14b or a 16g MBC DSM 450cc injectors DSM 1G BOV DSM SMIC or an ebay fmic SS briaded oil lines and water lines Uberdata for engine management fuel pump-which? other mods: stage 3 6-puck sprung clutch, fidanza 8lb flywheel arp head studs 2.5" turbo-back exhaust boost gauge Am I missing anything? Any route better to take with the parts that i listed? And or which motor? Thanks! Appreciate it much. Some friends and I will be doing the swap and turbo install. Thanks! |

-eBay FMIC I suggest the CX racing ones..They are actually really good and come with a Greddy knockoff BOV. |
