rotating 14b
I need to rotate the compressor housing of my 14b, but the only problem is that when I do so, the center section follows the comp. housing. I heard that if you ---- with the center section, you'd need to have it sent somewhere to rebalance it. Would that be the case if all I was doing was just rotating the compressor housing and not the center section along with it?

You shouldn't need to mess with any snap ring... I loosened the band clamp, broke the little alignment pin off (I think it's on the center exhaust side, I'm not certain it might be on the snap ring side), rotated the chra and intake side and fabbed up a mount for the wg actuator.

Did you take the shaft out, as in seperated the exhaust blade/shaft from the compressor BLADES
---- have do we need to spell it out for you.
Altering the housing to point in whatever direction does not alter the BALANCE of the CHRA

As I stated before, I know exactly how it's done, I've read up on it, I've seen many how-to's. I just didn't know if I needed a rebalance afterwards, but now I know. Thank you.
