Is it rice to install my intercooler and not have my turbo installed. Before you guys roast me, I want to explain that my turbo will be from NA to STGIII with one day of down time. I call this project "day off down time"
OK, here's the story, I don't want to pull off my bumper cover more than twice and in order to make charge pipes, I must have all of my components, I.E. an intercooler. The shitty part is that as soon as I get my charge pipes created, I have to send the fuckers off to get them powdercoated :'( I don't want to move my intercooler. If it is ricey, then I'll not be a lazy-ass and take it back out; hell, I don't know. I need advice.

dude thats not rice just under construction.. but chickenwire with no intercooler behind it.... thats a different story

Just what I was thinking, if it is just for a few days, to get everything in there, that is perfectly fine, not rice, now If you were to put the Intercooler in like 3 months in advance just to show it off, then that would be rice. I will probably do the same, but again just for a few days.

whew! thank God. Man there was this car that I saw yesterday that I would have killed for camera. I didn't know that next door had disposibles, but now I pack one in my car. When I see this car agian, this whole website will laugh their asses off. BTW, thanks for the advice.

Not really at all, since their is a huge restriction (the turbo) in the way, plus it over revs the turbo to drive it like that.

I took it off and put the stock header back on, It was ok I guess, I was using the DX tranny at the time, so it felt kinda slow.

Afraid to boost my new B16 with a rising rate? Yup. My POS pump can only fuel till about 3-4psi, then it leans out on top. The stock ignition starts to miss a bit on the top end too.

I just dont want to end up like Beau, so I'm goin to wait till the Hondata is done. ....sigh...... ::)

I'm stock internals too.

It's a good ------ thing that you dont live by jeff, or are not friends with him. YOu would be boosting that motor to 6-7 psi by now. Especially if he is in the car he wont let you not get on the fucker. :)

is it just me or is this "is this rice if i do this" ---- a little 3rd grade i mean do people these days have nothing better to think about. its like "am i gay if i go to the mall with a girl" i just think its stupid . why cant people do what they want with out ---- some people just like the look more than the performance and i definatly not one of them but still ???

well to be a ricer you have to think your car is fast when its not, it just has a huge fin and 4' exhaust tip.

someone who lowers their honda and puts big rims on it isn't rice just because of the fact. but if he were to act like his car was the fastest one on earth, or drive around hunched over and one arm on the top of the steering wheel that would be rice.

LOL RANDOM HEAR HEAR to me as long as it has performance to back up the looks im down but like you said if the just lowered it and have rims and a big fin that is diffinite rice that deserves the pan. I raced one guy who thought a dual cold air intake gave 75 horses lol ............dumb ricers by the way i own him now lol.

i dissagree anybody with a honda and rims that r bigger than 17 inch are infact rice weather or not they drive it like a caddy
