Re: review my turbo set up
Why don't you get the 450s and the turboedit now? Its a lot safer and you'll be able to boost more safely. Its a win-win- roughly like 50 bucks for DSM 450s and another 50 to xenocron to get an OBD0 chip kit and a custom basemap for your setup- For a 100 bucks, I think you can wait a lil longer to have your fun.

Re: review my turbo set up
how well do the custom basemaps usually work? i know it can always be street/dyno tuned to be at peak performance but on a 1-10 scale of how well the custom maps usually work what would you give it? ::)

Re: review my turbo set up
well I got a chip kit for my brother-inlaws boosted z6 setup, it was like night and day compaired to running a vafc. and the tunning for being a generic tune was very very good. no dead spots and room for some advance in the timing even. we ran a consistant 10psi with spikes to 14psi. thing held great. untill 225k and major abuse caught up with the rod bearings lol. so on a scale of 1-10 I would rate xenon's tuned base map at a 8 or 9

Re: review my turbo set up
3-4 lbs isn't even worth the work to do the turbo kit.
