Return Line

sorry for a noob question.

what's the smallest diameter for a return line that i can install in a TD04L-13G turbo? i think my return line is too small.

I think most use the 1/2" return line. Just get s 1 foot section of hihg temp hose and 2 hose clamps. as well as the fittings you need. and bam your done *

my return line is a - 12, 5/8 on my IHI rhb5

thanks for the replies.

one more question though, how would i know if the return line is too small for the turbo? will some of the oil leak in the impeller or turbine side?...

Ya i think you would start noticing the boost drop and possibly leak some oil into the exhaust or intake. You want it free flowing cause its gravity feed so as long as thats good you wont have a problem...
