I am wiring these radio shack 10 watt 10 ohm resisitors . they look kind of small green in colour will they be fine there about the same diameter as a pencil and are about an inch long also i was wodering of i could tape over them once the connection was made or will this cause them to over heat?

Green? All the ones I saw at the shack were white but whatever. Yes you can tape them.

 

yeah there green they say resistor wirewound! are these ok?

 

how can you have a problem with such a simple step, wire them in and see if they work.
