Default resistor help

there is a plug by the top right hand side of the engine bay...it has 8 black/yellow wires, but nothing is plugged in to that plug. My question is if i can wire my resisters there and which wires would it be?

Check with a multimeter to verify. There are 4 wires you have to cut and solder in with the resistor box.

No.

Everything that is hooked up to that block gets supplied with a constant 5 (or 12, can't remember) volt source. Your injectors, IACV and other ---- tap off of this block. When these devices are needed, the ECU grounds them. Your injectors firing, for instance. What you need to do is take a multimeter, and set it to detect resistance (ohms). Put one plug in the injector plug, on the side with the yellow wire/black stripe. Then, take the other end and plug it into each port in that box. When you find what wire is what, you'll get a resistance reading (in ohms). Mark that terminal on that distribution block with a market. Go to the next injector, ect. Once you get the four wires, you need to cut/strip them.

If you're working with the Radio Shack in-line resistors, you'll just put one resistor in line with each wire. If you're doing it with a resistor box, take the 4 wires on the distribution plug side and solder them all together with the red wire. Then solder the other 4 with any of the other wires on the injector plug side.

Here's a picture for you -

im working with the radio shack ones, but i wanted to catch the wires earlier in the harness so it would be easier to keep it clean.

Then follow the yellow/black wires and tap in whenever.
