removing hks from pipe

I bought my ssqv on a pipe, but i want to put it on a different pipe and flange, but i cant figure out how in the hell to get anything in there to get the c clip off to remove it, any suggestions?

i have to take the case off it to get to mine then it seems a bit easier

you need a good pair of snapring pliers.
